Greetings from a COVID afflicted President who is doing her best to bounce back asap. Thank you to PP Doug for stepping up to cover for me at today’s meeting. Apologies John Perry for missing your Member Behind the Badge. These MBTB are important as we discover the member’s history and find we all have something in common – a need to Make a Difference.
Huge thanks to Katrina who led a team of rugged up members and Friends of Rotary Hawthorn in packing 200 Care bags. Have you ever wondered how much work and co-ordination is required to locate the contents of our Care bags? This is Community Service at its best.
Wednesday night is our first Board Meeting for the new year and we shall be discussing your responses to our Forum and incorporating some of these concepts into the year ahead. You will all receive the responses by email to gain a perspective of how our members would like to enjoy working on our projects and fellowship of Rotary Hawthorn.
