Rotary on the Move

How nice to see Dorothy Gilmour’s article in “Rotary on the Move” about Rotary SAFE Families Inclusive Communities Initiative  being part of the Changepreneurs International Women’s Day event recently at Hoppers Crossing. Rotary SAFE Families works in partnership with Changepreneurs in empowering young women through outreach, education and mentorship.

 What’s new in my Vocation?

I have been impressed by Vincent Chen’s Vocational Series, and recent events brought memories of my own experience in mental Hospitals. Hence my contribution to the series.  I hope more members will support Vincent’s programme. 

Penultimate District Conference?

Ian Bentley reports that District Conferences may be on the way out, and that  the next District Conference may be our last. Some Rotarians have maintained that Australia should have a Rotary Conference of its own, just like Rotary UK do. With a small population and large distances between Districts, there may be some sense in the idea.
