Newer club members may not know that among Anne Scott's many interests is the Olave Baden Powel Society, which is the fundraising arm of the WAGGS (The World Association for Guides and Girl Scouts).

The King of Malaysia (Abdullah of Pahang) opened the conference in Genting, and one of his sons was a keynote speaker.

We were entertained by some of the local children.
One banquet was a 9-course Chinese meal - another was a fundraising dinner
 
After three days in Genting, we moved to Kuala Lumpur for more amazing events culminating in a dinner at the Royal Palace.
 
This was one of the most beautiful and memorable events I have ever attended.
