Last year the club supported the golf day at Box Hill and part of the proceeds for the Hat Day Luncheon were passed to Chances.

Members may recall at  a recent meeting President Charlotte passed a donation to Helen Worladge for the program.

Helen spoke about the project and the inspiring success of some of the students that have received scholarship support.

Helen also maintains contact with past recipients to provide guidance and assistance.

One of these students is Julia Kim who after graduating from Camberwell High School is in her second year of an Arts /  Law degree at Monash.

Julia had contacted Helen to enquire whether it would be possible to discuss her course and possibilities of career opportunities.

David Rush has taken on the role of mentor and is arranging for Julia to have a look at the world of legal practice with his old firm.
