Maria Berry is an educator and advocate for Elder Abuse awareness and education.

Maria has also founded a program, which has a focus on the engagement, value and respect of all older people and their contributions within our local communities. 

The Hush Foundation and Rotary Melbourne forged a partnership in October 2019 to expand the reach and capacity of the Gathering of Kindness program, which aims to make healthcare workplaces kinder for staff, patients and their families.   

'Maria has a background in Nursing, including experience in working with older people in residential care and community settings.  Maria has worked on various Advisory Committees, with the National Ageing Research Institute, Clinical Networks, Elder Abuse Australia and within conferences, forums and networking groups'.
