Today’s speaker, Sophie Flynn, told us about UNICEF, which was formed after World War 2, and was originally called the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. It is now officially “United Nations Children's Fund”, and is an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide.
Since I retired some years ago my former Human Resource Management role, has, like many management disciplines, had to evolve to remain relevant in the corporate world.
In this day and age, where many of us are suspicious of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, there is a positive spin for taking part in this form of marketing and promotion. 
The Rotary District 9800 Environmental Sustainability Committee was formed in 2019 in response to Rotary International’s adoption of Environmental Sustainability as its seventh Area of Focus.
