Project: maintenance of the sensory garden at Box Hill Hospital Adolescent Mental Health ward.
We have agreed to assist the adolescent mental health ward at Box Hill by refurbishing and upgrading the sensory garden.
Last week we held a working bee in the garden. A team of 5 worked at pruning and removing plants and decorative features that are past their best. The next stage will be some replanting including the succulent wall feature, fixing or replacing the water feature and providing some replacement outdoor furniture.
Thanks to the project team of Katrina, Sue, Noel, Denbigh and Sheridan, and Katrina’s husband Mick.
It was a lot of fun!
