They will have the opportunity of seeing the success of a venture which saw the Karen refugees from Myanmar being warmly welcomed by the people of Nhill.
Since their arrival, Nhill has been transformed to a modern and highly successful multicultural community.
Each week we will provide an update of the numbers attending but strongly recommend you book accommodation at the Zero Inn Motel as soon as possible. Phone: +61 3 5391 1622
For those who feel their four legged friends cannot be left at home do not despair as the town has other accommodation to suit.
We will once again provide an optional tour of the Nhill Aviation Centre which is maintained largely by volunteers
Nhill has links to early aviation history with the Royal Flying Doctor Service commencing services in 1917.

The legendary aviator Amy Johnson landed in Nhill in 1930 whilst completing her England to Australia epic record breaking flight.
From 1940 during WW2, Nhill Airfield provided training for 10,000 aviation personnel from many allied countries.
The heritage centre has many fine examples of aircraft and memorabilia and is an important place in Australian aviation history.
I look forward to sharing some great times with you, other Rotarians and the Nhill community but please reserve your place if you have not already done so.
