My Rotary contact for our event on Saturday, was Laurie Fagan (right), Rotary Mooroopna. He had told me about an event which ran on Friday, the day before we arrived in Shepparton.

Four Goulburn Valley Rotary clubs came together to cater for the 2023 Biggest Ever Blokes Lunch to raise funds for Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia.

One thousand people gathered at a huge covered stadium in Shepparton. The four Rotary Clubs each catered for 250 guests and served the food and cleaned up later.

Do you know how much money these four Rotary Clubs raised on Friday?

$250,000  These funds will be applied to pay the salaries of two Prostate Cancer Specialists and a nurse for one year.
