President Katrina’s husband Mick (that's him holding the cup in front of an interested Phar Lap) and his friends enjoying a day at Flemington races as part of a special prize donated by VRC which included a behind the scenes tour and holding the 2018 Melbourne Cup.
Thanks to all our members and guests in purchasing tickets at meeting on 20th February at which Amanda Elliott, Chairman of the VRC was the guest speaker. Thanks to Amanda Elliott and VRC for donation of this special prize.
The funds raised from the special prize draw have been contributed towards the purchase of acrylic mirrors for the APY lands in remote northwestern South Australia as part of the project “mirrors in all homes” which part of broader Rotary project of End Trachoma by 2020 project .
