PDG Dennis Shore told us about his recent mission as Rotary International President’s Representative in District 3292 Nepal-Bhutan.

his was Dennis’ fourth trip as RIPR, starting with a reception in Kathmandu. Although Nepal and Bhutan are not quite contiguous, Lynda and Dennis carried off their appointment seamlessly, through VIP lounges, while meeting lots of people and dignitaries.
Rotary is held in high regard in the area, so the District Conference had lavish entertainment with rock stars, food and hospitality.
It was a busy time for them both, showing off their dance moves, visiting the birthplace of Buddha and the Monkey Temple.
Back home in Melbourne, Dennis lamented he is a Nabob no more. Nevertheless, we congratulate him on his fourth appointment in the important role as Rotary International President’s Representative.
