Dr Lugg will 'speak about the Alfred Mental Health Unit ward (that we support with MHU Care packs) and its inhabitants, then about the psychosocial determinants of mental ill-health'.
He is an experienced consultant psychiatrist who has worked in various locations across Australia. He has worked in several locum positions in 2021 and 2022, where he covered different areas of psychiatry, such as community, remote, old age, inpatient unit, emergency department, crisis outreach, consultation-liaison (CL), acute care, and youth community.
He has also worked in several training positions, including as an advanced trainee in consultation-liaison psychiatry at Bloomfield Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he worked in psychooncology, palliative care, chronic pain, perinatal psychiatry, and Aboriginal health.
