PRESIDENTS NOTE

Today we honoured our wonderful Vice President and friend Ngaire Cannon. The sadness and shock across the Club has been considerable and I thank those Club Members who have been kind enough to assemble wonderful memories and photographs that are published in this Bulletin. I will be able to email Members early next week regarding Ngaire's funeral arrangements.

UnstoppaBULL

Daniel Bull is an Australian adventurer, mountain climber, and professional speaker. He holds the world record for the youngest person to climb the Seven Summits and the Volcanic Seven Summits. He also holds the world record for the highest altitude kayaking.

He attended St. Bede's College in Mentone and Monash University where he studied a double degree in business accounting and computer science. Bull began a career in IT consulting in business intelligence while pursuing his lifestyle as an adventurer.

NGAIRE CANNON

Ngaire has left us and we are all devastated. We can only imagine the loss felt by Ralph, her children Saul and Tamara and her grandchildren. We share our deepest sympathy with them.

It is hard to comprehend that she has left us because Ngaire was larger than life. She had boundless energy and was loud (in a nice way), forceful and determined (particularly on the tennis court where losing was not an option) and truly one of a kind.

D9800 Conference

Hello all,

As expected and anticipated the PM just stated--to contain and slow the rate of transmission of the Corona virus in Australia---- ban and cancel all organised and non-essential gatherings of 500 people or more from Monday.

This means the D9800 Conference in Bendigo is cancelled.
