Our guest speaker this week, Jacinda Goodwin, gave a very interesting overview on Werribee Open Range Zoo and the area she works in protecting Australian native species from extinction. She is currently working to preserve the Plains-Wanderer, a small ground dwelling bird with some unique characteristics.
Today we welcomed Jacinda Goodwin, who was introduced by Pam Crockett. Jacinda works for Zoos Victoria, and has been a zoo keeper at Werribee Open Range Zoo for nine years.
The Country Women’s’ Association of Victoria Inc., Boroondara Branch hosted a successful Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, at the Auburn Bowls Club, in aid of the Cancer Council on Saturday, 25 May 2024.
