Congratulation to our wonderful club for today continuing the Hat day tradition (zoom style).

It was so wonderful to see hats adorned by great big smiles and as a bonus, our generous members raised close to $900 for Rotary Health Foundation benefiting research into mental health.

Infectious Optimism - Your Superpower

Peter England introduced Victor Perton. who is a Director of The Centre for Optimism.

He believes that 'Optimism is the underpinning of resilience and we need to foster it throughout the community'.

Criteria for today's hat competition were Creativity / Originality and Confidence/ Optimistic.

100% of the money raised during this year's Hat Day campaign goes directly to research helping the one in five Australians affected by depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and many other illnesses.
