Hawthorn Rotary Club welcomed 41 Rotarians and their guests, to its weekly meeting for the third week of August.
Sadly, today I announced to the club of the passing of member Ken McNamara's wife, Mrs Lois McNamara. We are all joined, as we extend our condolences to Ken and his family at this difficult time.
Today was a very special day for our great club. Following my communication with the club on Tuesday in relation to the masks that were being donated to Box Hill Hospital, I can now confirm they been delivered.

The Rotary Foundation Trustees and Rotary International Board of Directors have both unanimously approved adding a new area of focus: supporting the environment.
Stuart Stockdale has been attending some of our meetings and he was so impressed by Murray Verso’s presentation on The Rotary Foundation that he offered this opportunity to purchase wine with $35 per dozen bottle being donated to Rotary Hawthorn for The Rotary Foundation.
