I do hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing Easter and the beautiful weather we were blessed with over the time.

My family and I (including our beloved Milo) managed to get away to the Peninsula for a five-night break and enjoyed some quality family time.

Maternal and Child Health Month

April is Rotary’s Maternal and Child Health month. As you probably know, in developed countries, women outlive men by an average of 5 to 10 years. This is a relatively new phenomenon. Until the dawn of the 20th century, men generally outlived women by many years. The main reason for this was that large numbers of women died from the complications of pregnancy and childbirth.

A fun fact is a tidbit of interesting or entertaining trivia. People often introduce a fun fact, sometimes in the form of witty and biting observations, with the phrase itself because otherwise how would you know it was a fun fact.
