PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

Dear Members,

Hello from the Old Parliament Hall, Edinburgh where Peter, our son Alastair and I attended a family wedding recently!

I hope that everyone has recovered from the festive season and starting to get ready for the New Year and all the activities that are being planned for our Club.

I understand that the weather conditions have been challenging in Melbourne and would like to thank all the volunteers who undertook carparking duties during the Kooyong Classic to raise money for club projects.

I look forward to coming home on the 20th and welcoming Members to the first meeting of the year at Moonah Links on 28th January.

Kind regards,

Charlotte

But heavy smoke from the bushfires put the tournament in jeopardy.  How did it all end up?

President Charlotte decided to donate the funds towards Darrel Steer’s Cambodia Clean Water and Toilet Project.

The attached email from Darrel details what the funds have been used for.
