Thirty-seven members and guests attended today’s Club meeting by Zoom to hear our speaker Maria Berry from Gathering of Kindness, a project of the Hush Foundation.  
 
Other guests at the meeting included Dr Catherine Crock AM, the Chair and Founder of the Hush Foundation; Reg Smith OAM President of the Rotary Club of Melbourne who introduced the speaker; Lili Teichman, Assistant Governor, Riverside; Councillor Di Gillies, and Viviane Chemali, State Vice-President of the Country Women’s Association.

THE GATHERING OF KINDNESS

When introducing guest speaker Maria Berry, President Ray Smith of Melbourne Rotary Club told us how  the Hush Foundation and Rotary Melbourne forged a partnership in October 2019 to expand the reach and capacity of the Gathering of Kindness program, which aims to make healthcare workplaces kinder for staff, patients and their families.

Family Fun Day

Our clubs, the Rotary clubs of Glenferrie, Camberwell, Hawthorn and Canterbury have combined to mark the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Rotary in Australia with a unique gift to the Boroondara community, assisted by a District Local Grant from The Rotary Foundation.
