PRESIDENTS NOTE

As the first day of the winter and during lockdown, the timing of our zoom meeting from the comfort of our homes was perfect.  
 
Today I felt reminded of how optimism has steered through the year with this being our 4th lockdown and I’m sure the other 32 people in attendance shared my views.

PP Ian Bentley introduced Ian McRae, who told us about TreeProject, which  is a non-profit, non-government, volunteer-based organisation leading the way in sustainable re-vegetation throughout Victoria by providing low cost indigenous seedlings to landholders and landcare groups.

National Youth Science Forum

The National Youth Science Forum is a competitive summer school program dedicated to exposing year eleven students who are heading into year twelve and are thinking about a career in science, engineering and related disciplines to major scientific institutions and researchers, so that they may make more informed choices for their future endeavours.  nysf.edu.au
